- Quests added:

Random Notes
Sorry for the lack of activity from me lately. I haven't been tinkering as much as I'd like (despite my purchase of that awesome new WoW Programming Book). Between raiding Black Temple and the leveling spree with my druid (59 now) and sometimes find it hard to peel myself away. I am planning some fairly large changes though. Nothing I'm ready to announce yet because I'm not sure I can deliver.

Remember the Sunwell.

When I go to edit the Curse page it sends me to CurseForge. After updating it there, the Curse page still doesn't show those updates. So... *shrug* Should I just be linking to the CurseForge page then?

Awesome!

Don't worry about Curse/CurseForge, the main site will sync usually in about 15-30 minutes. You just need to update everything on CurseForge and then wait.

BTW, what kind of compatibility changes did you need to make? People are complaining about possible AQ/AL issues here, although I think they were using 4.1.1:

AtlasQuest uses the file name & path to figure out which map Atlas is displaying. So all I had to do was change the pathnames for the Instance Entrance maps. I had a similar problem to what they're mentioning last night where the bosses in Black Temple maps weren't showing up. But it went away today when I did a clean install. I'll play around and see if I can break it.

I noticed this evening that the quests for alliance and horde are switched when it comes to BRD. The horde quests are on the alliance tab and vice versa.. I have not checked all the quests yet and report more if needed.

IE A taste of Flame for horde should start with Cyrus Therepentous not marshal windsor

Thanks! For some Horde quests that have the same data as Alliance quests I just link the data. A while ago I must've added something and thrown it off. I found the same problem with "Heart of the Mountain". Fixes in the next version.

Hmm. I've been previously on 4.0.6 for a long time. I just barely noticed tonight that a lot of quests where marked as complete, but this is a new character. After looking at the WTF folder, and seeing where the settings are being saved to, it appears that its a global profile instead of for each character. So I thought maybe 4.0.6 was bugged, updated 4.1.2, same thing.

So basically, since i've been using this for a long time, all 12 of my characters have been sharing the same data marked as complete data. Is there any plan on seperating the profiles out so whether the quest is finished or not is actually accurate when you have multiple characters?

AtlasQuest saves the options and quest complete settings per character NAME, regretably. It's been this way as long as I've used it (probably from when Asurn first made AQ).

So if you have two characters with the same name (naturally they'd have to be on separate servers for that to happen), yea, it'll appear that the new character has completed quests.

I DO plan to address this. :D

Are you planning on adding the new Achievements to AQ for instances/BG that have them?

I hadn't really thought about doing that. I'll have to look around at it more. I just got the Beta running yesterday.

Nice, was just coming to report this mix up in the BRD quests myself after having recently taken an alt through it. But, I guess it's already being taken care of. :)
