Ideas for the future of Atlas.

What if we make another layer over the maps where we can have routes. So that people who have never been in that specific instance could just tick this little filthy button "Route [ ]" and they would get something like this.
Some of my mates have started to play wow for the first time, and I'm making routes for them with Photoshop and just saving them as .png's for them to use. But it would be cool to have it within Atlas too.

I think it's a cool idea. Lots of prep work! Wouldn't be too terribly hard to code in though.

you'll probably have to use different colors to indicate stars and different levels though, might wanna include a little Index of what color or shape means what somewhere too :D.

In some instances like BRD, you need to do a quest inside the instance to get the instance key. Do you guys think important quests like that deserves their own route ? Or is wowhead good enough ?

Since you bring up Blackrock Depths, I feel inclined to point out that in this very unique instance there are a dozen paths you can realistically take. You may want to kill the golem near the start, or that prison warden, or Incendius. Maybe go to the vault. You may need to do the quest for the key or you may already have it. This is probably the only case (definitely to this degree, anyway), but I just wanted to bring it up.

Good idea, though. :)
