Current Atlasloot is already 2.x so anyway until Atlas2 is final im sure more versions of Atlasloot will come out..

Anyway like Dave said Atlasloot3 is a huge update:)

Nope, haven't had time to check it out myself. Does it have anything I'm missing?

I've been debating this too. We'll see how it lines up. Right now, I want to get it out ASAP. The updates needed for WoW 2.1 are not going to major, and I should be able have a version ready a day before the patch hits in any case.

The first number in the Atlasloot revisions gets incremented for fundamental changes that make it incompatible with previous versions.

1.x -> First version
2.x -> WoW 2.0 compatibility, introductions of the standalone loot browser, etc
3.x -> You will have to wait and see!

But if you said AL 3 is expected to be ready when patch 2.1 goes live, maybe there is not really any point in doing so...

The last time there was a content patch this extensive was the Naxxramas update (1.10? I can't remember exactly ...). Anyway, that patch was on the PTR for about 6 weeks if I recall correctly, so we might still be quite aways off from seeing 2.1 go live.

At least, I hope we are. Things are, to be kind, a bit of a mess on the PTR now.

Anyway, thanks to all who have made these mods great!

In general, I use Linear Dodge blending for the maps, while he uses Normal blending. This technically makes his more "accurate," but I think the Linear Dodge mode makes mine stand out more from the backgrounds and look nicer. He also generally leaves a little less of a border around them. Other than that, there aren't many differences that I'm aware of.

I agree with you Acragas, I am expecting about a month of PTR with this patch. I should be done by then if Celellach stops coming up with ideas!

didn't check them all but from the maps he posted on ui I'd prefer his cause of quality but Dans/Daves map are kind of more "realistic" concerning the colours...seems that nifls maps have more "contrast" than in original.

btw he updated again

In the end it comes down to personal preference. I have no problem with him providing the alternate maps, nor with anyone using them.

Daviesh wrote:I am a lot closer than you to finishing I think! I am aiming for the 2.1.0 patch.

For the readme file:
* Previous Atlas installations MUST be deleted prior to upgrading to 1.9
* Map packs supplied by Daviesh for Atlas 1.8.6 (AtlasMissingMaps, AtlasTempestKeep, AtlasCoT, etc) MUST be deleted prior to upgrading to 1.9

ehmm.. then.. where can i get AtlasMissingMaps, AtlasTempestKeep, AtlasCoT ? can u pls link it? =)
